  2.                 EtherDisk Diskette for the EtherLink II Adapters

  5.   The EtherDisk diskette provides you with the necessary software, utilities, 
  6.   and documentation to use 3Com's EtherLink II adapters with various network 
  7.   operating systems (NOSs).  The diskette also includes the diagnostic 
  8.   program and additional files containing user information.  The adapter guide 
  9.   packaged with the adapter gives important information on adapter 
  10.   installation and use.  It should be used together with the EtherDisk 
  11.   diskette.

  13.   Before you install the network drivers, make sure that you: 
  14.  
  15.       -  Install your adapter
  16.       -  Configure the computer (if applicable)
  17.       -  Run the diagnostic program
  18.       -  Connect to the network
  19.  
  20.   To run the diagnostic program or update the network drivers, use the Menu
  21.   Program on the EtherDisk diskette.  To access the program, type MENU at the 
  22.   prompt.  Refer to the adapter guide or the text files in this directory  
  23.   for more information.

  44.   Unless otherwise indicated, the term "EtherLink II adapter" refers to the 
  45.   EtherLink II (3C503), EtherLink II TP (3C503-TP), EtherLink II/16 
  46.   (3C503-16), and EtherLink II/16 TP (3C503-16-TP) adapters.  All of these
  47.   adapters must be selected as an EtherLink II adapter in your setup program 
  48.   (for example, Novell's WSGEN) during the installation procedure.
